Picture yourself sitting in a smartly decorated rowboat, a glass of your favorite cocktail in hand. You are gently drifting a stone-throw away from U Bein Bridge, the world’s largest teak footbridge, one of Myanmar’s most photographed sites. We promise you one of a kind experience as the sun sets and villagers return home from the fields before nightfall. The bridge was originally constructed by mayor U Bein, using the unwanted teak columns from the Palace when King Mindon moved the capital from Amarapura to Mandalay.
It couldn’t get any better as you enjoy this serene moment, away from the crowd, on your dedicated rowing boat. You don’t have to row, there is a gentle row-master with you. Just relax and feel grateful to be here.
