Day 01 : Yangon – Sittwe by flight

After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine state known for its Indian cultural influence. Rakhine State is separated from the mainland by the Rakhine Hills. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel then visit to the ancient Mahakuthala monastery decorated with 99 windows and enjoy the sunset at View point.

Day 02 : Sittwe – Mrauk U by boat

In the morning visit the fish market in Sittwe. After that transfer by boat to Mrauk-U (~ 6 hr) and enjoy the river life along KALADAN river. Along the way, stop to visit at a typical village to experience their daily life. Afternoon arrive to Mrauk-U, an ancient city of the Rakhine Kingdom (15th century) and stroll around the city. End the day by admiring a sunset at Haridaung Hill.

Day 03 : Mrauk U

After breakfast, tour begins with local market. You will then visit the famous picturesque Pay Si pagoda to see five seated Buddha Images, the 16th century Rakhine style Kothaungtemple, known for its 90,000 Buddhas, Min Kaung Shwe Gustupa, well-known for its sandstone carvings, Phaya Oat stupa which contains twenty nine small caves with Buddha images inside. After this visit, you will take a short walk to the typical Rakhine village to experience their ways of life and the old palace excavation site of Sakya-Man-Aung, a tall attenuated stupa guarded by two remarkable protectors.

Afternoon sightseeing will include: the massive Shitthaung-Paya, a curiously remarkable temple with countless Buddha images and relief, Andawthein with its unique stone carvings and floral designs and the fortress-like temple; Htaukkan-Thein, noted for the interesting stone sculptures in the vaulted passages, Bawdi Shwe Gu Pagoda, well-known for fine carvings of 550 Jataka stories and sunset at Shwe Taung Hill.

Day 04 : Mrauk U – Chin Village by private boat

After breakfast, drive to the jetty and boat trip Chin tribal villages, along the Lay Myo River where you will see scenic views and be in the midst of natural beauty. After arriving in the typical village, you will observe the way of life of Chin ethnic and see the amazing tattooed faces of local Chin ladies.

Day 04 : Mrauk U – Sittwe by private boat – YANGON by flight

Early morning, you will be taken by boat to Sittwe, then transfer by car to the airport for your flight to Yangon/Thandwe.
